Today we went on a bike ride to Brainard Lake. I know we've been going to Brainard a lot lately b/c our National Parks pass expires in June and we only plan on getting a Rocky Mountain pass this year, so we can only go to Brainard for free for a few more weeks. Anyways, we rode in the 2.5 miles and as soon as we set up to fish, it starts pouring with a freezing wind. So annoying. I mean, come on, it's almost June! We were planning on hiking into Mitchell Lake, but the rain never let up, so we headed back out early. And not a single bite to boot. Are we ever going to get a clear, warm Saturday? When we got back home it was warm and sunny, of course, so we went to the pool. The water was freezing, so I hung out in the hot tub. :-)
Baby Jeremy had another first today...for a week or so now, he been getting on his hands and toes (the push-up position), pulling his right knee up, and darting forward in a pseudo crawl (almost, Jeremy, almost). Well, today he pulled his knee up as usual but then rolled his hip over and suddenly was sitting!!! He can go from his tummy to sitting all by himself! Is there anything this kid can't do?
