Jeremy's 1st month!

We haven't been updating this blog very much b/c we're a little pre-occupied with a certain little monster. :-) At 4 weeks, Jeremy was 10 lbs .5 oz. I take his perfect weight gain as a personal accomplishment, let me tell ya. Jeremy is in the 70 percentile for height, weight, and head circumference. Nice and healthy without being super huge. Perfect. He's also brilliant. There are videos at the end of this post of him showing off his amazing skills.

Anyways, it's been quite an eventful month. First, my mom came out for a few days to meet the baby and offer some much needed middle-of-the-night support. It was super great having her here. While she was here, we pretty much hung out at home with the baby. Here's a pic of my Mom and Jer:

Next came the Woolley grandparents and my sis-in-law Kristal. Kristal could only stay for part of the trip, but she got to be with us for Thanksgiving! Here's a picture of Grandma Zonda and Jeremy:

We did get out of the house a little more with them: we ate Thanksgiving dinner with the Ames's from church, went shopping multiple times :-), and made it to the gym a few times. Ryan thought it would be great fun to only offer his dad, Cliff, the following shirt for his trips to the gym:

We did manage to get up to Rocky Mountain National Park with Zonda. We saw a bajillion elk and took a little walk to a frozen Bear Lake.

A few days after my in-laws left, my dad came out. With him, we went to Rocky Mtn, took him snow-shoeing for the first time in his life, did some speed shopping for Jeremy, ate amazing sushi and walked around Pearl Street, and checked out some neat old towns like Central City and Georgetown. We forgot to take enough outdoor gear when we went snow shoeing, so dad went in his cashmere coat. It was kinda funny.

Jeremy wasn't a super huge fan of his snowsuit or the cold. But he's a toughy-pants.

This is Jeremy during Tummy Time. He's a very advanced baby. He can hold his head up for a long time and can even turn his head. Such a good baby.

He makes the most adorable coo-ing sounds already. He likes to talk to the giraffe Grandma Carol got him.

Daddy makes a grumpy Jeremy dance. Adorable.

Well, it's almost Jeremy's dinner time, so that's all for now from the Woolley gang!
