October

Lynn asked me about our blog today, which made me realize I haven't updated it in over a month, so this is for you, Lynn! :-)

Of the more exciting things we've done this month, one of my favorite was taking Jeremy to Circus Vargus with Ryan and Zonda. Zonda made a special trip from Visalia by herself just to come with us. The circus was at 7, so Chloe stayed home with a sitter and went to sleep. Poor Jer was a zombie by the end, but it was so worth it! The best part was the pre-show where they let all the kids come down to the circus floor and learn some circus tricks including hoola-hooping, juggling scarves, and balancing feathers.

Screen shots from our video camera. You weren't allowed to use flash photography during the show.

We also had our 20 week ultrasound a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few more pictures of our new daughter (she's still a girl, so that's good):
Ryan thinks she has my mom's nose.
She kept sucking on her entire fist; it was pretty funny.

Last Saturday my friend Chris was in town visiting from Maryland for vacation. I was literally pregnant with Chloe the last time I saw him, and he's one of my best friends, so it was really great to see him. We put him right to work carving pumpkins with the rest of the family.
Jer was pretty grossed out at first. He was like, "you want me to put my hands in there ON PURPOSE?"
Jeremy ran up to this warty pumpkin immediately when we went to the pumpkin patch and claimed it. It didn't matter how many more pumpkins we looked at, this was HIS pumpkin. He's very proud of it.
He's growling at you. You might wanna stay away from his pumpkin.

Last Saturday was pretty awesome. In addition to seeing our friend Chris and carving pumpkins, we had the ward Halloween party that night. Chloe was a monkey (it was Jer's costume when he was 11 months, but it was the only one we had that she fit. She didn't fit the 2T tinkerbell one she got for her birthday, sadly). Jeremy was Scooby-Doo, and Ryan was Shaggy. I was a pumpkin again. Easiest costume ever and I got a ton of compliments.
We had a costume parade, so Ryan marched around the room with the babies. There were over a 100 kids in the parade, but somehow I managed to get none of them in this picture.
Ryan thought it would be funny to put the Shaggy wig on the kids. He thought it was hilarious, but I thought it was creepy.
Megan and me - she's pregnant, too, and due about a month before me
Is she not just the most gorgeous creature you've ever seen?

Other late September and October pictures....

The kids looked adorable before church a few weeks ago, and we took more than a dozen pictures trying to get a good one. The sun was in their eyes, so it was next to impossible between the sun and the shadows to get anything decent. Here are the best two.
(that's an unripe lemon in Jer's hand)

After a picnic at Castaic Lake
Chloe saw Daddy napping on the couch and went to copy him
Jer got some temporary tattoos at a birthday party and he was pretty stoked about the frog one.
Future MIB
Chloe loves to play with my make-up
Look at that intensity. He loves to play with the calculator and with paint on the computer.
Uh-oh, we're in trouble.
Seeing them playing together always makes me misty.
Loving on the kitty.
Just pretty.

Your babies are precious. I can't wait to hug them this month.
