Laughing
Laughing Jeremy from Ryan Woolley on Vimeo.
It has been so much fun to watch Jeremy develop so many new skills lately. Our favorite is the one above. He's so much fun. Sorry that the sound is a little low, someone must have had their finger on the mic. Just turn it up to hear his contagious laugh.
In the past couple of weeks he has also become quite adept at grabbing for things he sees and bring them to his mouth if he can. He loves to suck on his hands and has even started singling out his thumb. Venessa is quite proud of the fact that it's usually his left.
Our monster baby (15.5 lbs, 90th percentile) has excellent head control and is pretty close to sitting on his own. He also likes to stand up with his own strength. He's very attentive to faces and sounds, and he even sits in his jungle bouncer for around an hour straight every day. He is just as content as can be watching the little frog go up and down.
Can you tell we're proud parents? We'd be even prouder if he'd figure out the whole sleeping thing, especially at night. His best is only 2 feedings at night, but we're still having quite a few rough nights. When he figures out how to sleep through the night we're going to have a party.
We just ordered a new HD camcorder so we'll be able to share all of his momentous accomplishments (and his stunning cuteness) with you in perfect clarity.

Wow! What a resemblance! He might not appreciate that when he gets older--but it is a cute comparison now. Can't wait to see him again!
